Festival of Lights is in full swing at Rogier Park in Vandalia, Illinois. While enjoying the lights we have a few things we’d like to ask you to remember:
This is a free light display, but donations are greatly appreciated. There is a donation box located near the circle drive, OR you can scan the QR code that you will see on signs throughout the Park or on our Facebook page.
When strolling through the park, please be aware of all the displays, extension cords, light bulbs, wires, etc. that it takes to make our park a Christmas wonderland. We also ask that you do NOT play on the displays.
Santa and Mrs. Claus along with a live reindeer will be ready to hear all of the Christmas wishes in the gazebo located in the circle drive on Saturday, December 2 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Diekemper Photography will be on hand to take pictures.
Enjoy FREE cookies and cocoa sponsored by the Chamber on Saturday, December 2 from 5 until 7 p.m.
While strolling through the lights, you might run into one of your favorite Christmas characters between 6 and 8 p.m. on December 2. They were such at hit at the Halloween Parade, we just HAD to have Sunny Days Daycare and Learning Center bring their Christmas characters to Festival of Lights.
Take lots of pictures and share them with us on our Facebook page. We would love to see them!
Enjoy free candy canes provided by Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation from 5 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 2.
Grab the whole family and head over to Rogier Park in Vandalia, Illinois for a fun filled family night. Make a night of it by enjoying a bite to eat at one of our delicious restaurants, do a little shopping at one of our stores such as Times Right, enjoy a movie, go bowling or relieve some stress and do a little axe throwing.
It really is the MOST wonderful time of the year!
