About Us

Times Right was reimagined by Ken & Wanda Hubler in 2020 to fulfill their dreams of providing a unique service & shopping experience to Vandalia and surrounding communities. The primary focus of the shop was repairing antique and modern clocks with Ken Hubler once again offering this valuable service. The Hublers also had a showroom of secondhand finds curated by Wanda.

Times Right was originally a clock & jewelry shop in a different Vandalia location many years ago. Ken Hubler owned & operated the business focused on repair of clocks, watches and jewelry. Much has changed for Ken since then. After many years, he moved on to computer repair and purchased the current location in 2013. He retired to take care of his elderly parents for a few years before both of them passing in 2018. Ken & Wanda found each other in 2017 and married in 2019. With Wanda close to retirement from her corporate career in early 2020, the couple began planning to revive Times Right with a twist.

In 2022 the Hublers expanded to include double the shopping area with more variety for the customers. The Treasure Market offers new & seasonal items, as well as handmade, vintage & secondhand. Customers can find many gift ideas, jewelry, collectibles, clocks & home decor, furniture, books and so much more!

Times Right is a hobby business for Ken & Wanda who claim to be semi-retired. Ken’s passion for antique clocks inspires him to focus on restoration and repair. He no longer enjoys the tedious work on watches and jewelry so he does not offer this service anymore. Pairing the clock repair with a retail shop is a natural choice to include Wanda’s passion for finding fabulous deals. She has many fond memories of shopping flea markets and gift shops with her Mom & family. Her ultimate dream is to make the Treasure Market a “go to” shopping experience in Downtown Vandalia.

The two story historic brick building which houses Times Right is over 100 years old and has been home to a variety of Vandalia businesses. Originally used for carriage and wagon making, the evolution includes a paint store, flooring business, dental office and more. The Hublers are proud to own and continue renovations on the historic building in downtown Vandalia.
