You can not over wind your clock. Many people think their clock has stopped because it has been “over wound”. This is a myth. Your clock is made to run its intended amount of time after its springs have been fully and tightly wound. If your clock will not run, it is in the need of maintenance or repair. Most clocks will run eight days or even 31 days on a full winding. This also applies to weight driven clocks.

If your clock is a wind up or weight driven clock expect at least a 2 month turn around time because we are overwhelmed with clocks to repair. So please be patient.

If your clock is a battery quartz clock, we most likely can get it back to you in a few days.

Our guarantee for mechanical windup clocks is 2 years for repairs done and parts replaced to clock. For quartz clocks, we guarantee the movement we replaced for 1 year.

We repair most mechanical clocks, antique to modern. There are a few exceptions for what we repair such as alarm clocks and electronic clocks.

We replace movements in most quartz clocks but there are also a few exceptions we do not repair.
